TNVR is safe, humane and effective. In fact, it is the ONLY scientifically proven method of controlling the feral (wild) cat population.

We have partnered with a local veterinarian who is passionate about preventing unwanted litters, and she visits our shelter in Westfield nearly every week to perform TNVR spays and neuters in our on-site surgical suite.

Each cat is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, given a topical flea/tick preventative, then after recovery, is released back to his or her original location and monitored by a colony caretaker.

If you would like to schedule an appointment for your barn/feral cats to be spayed and neutered through our TNVR program, please complete a TNVR Request Form.

If you need assistance learning how to live trap cats, we may be able to help you. If you need to rent live traps from us, we may require a deposit. If you have questions about our TNVR program, please contact felinefriendswi@gmail.com.
